Volunteer roles sign-up template
Use this one when the event is a single day and what you actually need is bodies on specific jobs. There are no dates to choose: the six slots are the roles themselves, each with the number of people it takes. A helper opens the link, sees that the setup crew still needs two and photos is already covered, and claims the one they want.

What is already in it
- Six roles with headcounts — setup, registration desk, food and drinks, kids activities, photos, and cleanup
- Timing written into the role where it matters (“arrive 1 hour early”, “stay 1 hour late”)
- A T-shirt size field, so you order once and order right
- A backup-skills checkbox — driving, sound, photos, supplies — for the gaps that open on the day
- An open notes field for everything the form did not think to ask
What people use it for
- School fairs, fundraisers and galas
- Church events and community festivals
- Sports tournaments and race days
- Conferences and meetups needing day-of staff
Everything in it is yours to change
A template is a starting point, not a cage. Rename the slots, change the limits, add or delete questions, swap the fonts and colours, or describe what you want differently and let the AI rework it. When it is ready you publish it and share one link — and whoever opens that link fills the form in without signing up for anything.
