Potluck sign-up sheet template
The paper sheet on the kitchen counter has one failure mode: nobody can see it before they shop. This template puts the same list online, so every guest opens one link and picks from what is still free. Six categories come filled in — appetizer, main, side, salad, dessert, and drinks — each capped, so once two people have claimed the main dish it closes itself and the next guest picks something else.
Use this template Free, and no account needed to try it.
What is already in it
- Six dish categories with per-category limits, so you end up with a meal rather than seven bowls of chips
- A required “What are you bringing?” field, so the list is specific instead of six rows reading “a side”
- An allergens checkbox — nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, shellfish — collected per dish, not per guest
- A guest count, so your headcount and your food plan come from the same form
- A cleanup-help toggle for the part everyone forgets to ask about
What people use it for
- Birthday parties and dinner parties
- Office potlucks and team lunches
- Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving and holiday meals
- Church, club and neighbourhood gatherings
Everything in it is yours to change
A template is a starting point, not a cage. Rename the slots, change the limits, add or delete questions, swap the fonts and colours, or describe what you want differently and let the AI rework it. When it is ready you publish it and share one link — and whoever opens that link fills the form in without signing up for anything.
