Volunteer shift sign-up template
For work that runs on a schedule rather than a single date. This template opens with the next three Saturdays already set — 9am to 12pm, twelve places each, at one location — and a volunteer picks the morning that suits them. When a shift fills, it stops accepting people instead of quietly overbooking and leaving you to sort it out by text on the day.

What is already in it
- Three dated shifts with start and end times, a timezone, and a location on each
- A cap of twelve per shift, shown as places remaining and enforced automatically
- A group-size field, so one person can bring four and the count stays honest
- A crew preference dropdown — litter pickup, garden beds, painting and repairs, or wherever you need me
- A returning-volunteer question and an open notes field for accessibility needs and late arrivals
What people use it for
- Park, river and beach cleanups
- Food banks, shelters and charity build days
- School and church service projects
- Trail maintenance and conservation work
Everything in it is yours to change
A template is a starting point, not a cage. Rename the slots, change the limits, add or delete questions, swap the fonts and colours, or describe what you want differently and let the AI rework it. When it is ready you publish it and share one link — and whoever opens that link fills the form in without signing up for anything.
